Mr. Williams joined the Company in June, 2001. Mr. Williams was a cofounder of the Domestic Engineering Services turnkey department of Cliffs Drilling Company, a subsidiary of R & B Falcon Corporation, to provide service to the domestic offshore and inland water operations turnkey market. Mr. Williams is a 1974 graduate of Texas A & M University with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He held various positions at Phillips Petroleum Company, Tenneco Oil Company, and Kilroy Company of Texas, respectively, prior to entering the Turnkey drilling business in 1981. Since that time, he has held the positions of Engineering Manager at Avanti Services, Inc., Vice President of Engineering and Contracts at Triton Engineering Services, VP of Contracts at Applied Drilling Technology Inc. (ADTI), and VP of Contracts at Cliffs Drilling Company Domestic Engineering Services.
